End of the War

There comes a moment when you understand that to keep fighting would only mean wounding yourself further.

Not because you lost. Because you finally let go.

Everything you carried through pain and longing can now be laid down. It no longer has anyone to whom it must be given.

Not every love has to be accepted in order to transform a person. Not every suffering needs an answer in order to cease being a war.

How little white it takes to illuminate the darkness.

And perhaps this is where harmony begins — not in victory, but in a tired, quiet acceptance of life as it continues to flow.

Lay down within yourself what has been weighing on you, and finally rest.
